Communities First is a Welsh Assembly Government
flagship programme intending to regenerate deprived
areas in Wales.  The partnership is there to work
alongside residents to socially and physically improve
the area in which they live. It gives people the
opportunity to voice their opinions and actually become
involved in the process of improvement. People who
live and work in an area are always best placed to
understand and improve local needs and this idea
underpins the whole programme.
