The Partnership
The Van Communities First Partnership gives local people the opportunity to get involved in improving their area and involves everyone working together to identify and address their community problems, deciding themselves what is needed and ensure they last.
Communities First has also opened up further opportunities to bring in funding and support from a range of sources.

(e.g. giving up Youth group, exercise class, environmental improvements, or even a Knitting class for kids!) please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’d love to hear your ideas!
Working together with local agencies such as Caerphilly CBC, Gwent Police, GAVO, Groundwork, Local Health Board, Ystrad Mynach College and many more the non political partnership strives to move forward together.
The partnership have an office which is based in the Van Community Centre known as the HIVE which stands for Health, Information, Volunteering and Education. The HIVE is open every Thursday afternoon from 2pm until 4pm and on Friday mornings from 10am until 12 noon and residents and call in to chat about the local area over a cup of coffee.
