St James Primary School News

Children at St. James Primary School were pleased to receive a new oak tree to plant in the school ground. This was kindly organised by Caerphilly Rotary Club and The Woodlands Trust.
In November, the Communities First team visited St James' Primary School to ask the children what they thought about their community and how it could be improved. The children came up with some really interesting ideas and we would like to say thank you to the school for letting us visit.
We also asked adults for their views about the community during a week when we took a camper van around the Van area, which was then followed by a coffee morning at the Van community centre. We will be letting you know about some of the ideas we've had in the next edition of Vantastic News.
